Fresh Bedding
There are few things in this world better than clean sheets and jumping into fresh bedding at the end of the day. Since we officially moved our office downstairs, we have slowly been furnishing and finishing off our second guest bedroom. This has quickly become my favorite bedroom in the house. I scored this upholstered bed frame from One Kings Lane during one of their 20% off sales, and I couldn’t be happier with it overall. With the discount, it was actually cheaper than it’s Target equivalent. Speaking of Target; my mom suggested these sheets (sateen all day here) and I’m actually impressed with them so far based on the price. I can’t speak to how they hold up after time, but since it’s a guest bedroom and we didn’t have any queen sheets, I figured we’d give them a try. We also needed new standard size pillows and I found these on Amazon with over 118k reviews. Yep, you read that correctly. I had previously ordered down pillows from Costco but wasn’t impressed. These Amazon ones hands down take the cake. I did strike gold finding a duvet at Costco, that was around $55. Medium weight and also had great reviews that stated it held up during Chicago winters. Sold. Lastly, we splurged on a Parachute duvet cover during their Memorial Day sales. One of my best friends has been raving about their bedding and let’s just say she wasn’t wrong. This duvet cover is as soft as butter and I immediately want one for our bed too. Needless to say, I may be spending a bit more time in this room.
